What’s an “eClub”?
How Our eClub Functions
At Rotary eClub Ibiza International, we pride ourselves on our innovative and flexible approach to Rotary's mission of service above self. Here’s how we operate to ensure active participation, meaningful connections, and impactful service:
Language and Communication:
While our eClub is situated on the beautiful island of Ibiza, where Spanish and Catalan are predominantly spoken, our official language of communication is English. This ensures that we can engage with a diverse, global membership and foster inclusive dialogues.
Meeting Schedule:
We embrace the convenience and accessibility of the digital age by hosting our weekly meetings online. Our schedule is as follows:
- Online Meetings: We meet virtually three times a month, allowing members from all over the world to participate without geographical constraints. These meetings are designed to be dynamic, informative, and interactive, providing valuable opportunities for learning and collaboration.
- In-Person Social Gatherings: Once a month, we come together for a social gathering in person. These events are a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our bonds, share experiences, and enjoy the camaraderie that defines Rotary.
Engagement and Participation:
Our hybrid model of online and in-person interactions ensures that members can stay actively involved regardless of their location. We leverage digital tools to facilitate seamless communication, project planning, and service activities, making it easier for everyone to contribute to our goals and initiatives.
