Welcome to the Rotary eClub Ibiza International!
A Message from Our President, Donna Roggio
(July 2026 - June 2027)
It is a joy and an honor to welcome you to Rotary eClub Ibiza International, known to many of us as ReCII.
ReCII is an English-language Rotary eClub serving Ibiza, bringing together people who want to do good, stay connected, and make service part of real life.
As an eClub, we meet mainly online while staying active locally through projects, events, and in-person connection. That flexibility makes Rotary more accessible for working professionals, busy families, frequent travelers, and anyone who wants to contribute but cannot always attend a traditional weekly meeting.
This year, Rotary International’s focus on creating lasting impact feels especially close to my heart. For ReCII, lasting impact means practical service, strong relationships, and projects that are built with care, so they can make a real difference over time.
We are informal in atmosphere, serious in service. We laugh, we connect, we bring our different backgrounds and skills to the table, and we look for useful ways to support our island community.
My hope for this Rotary year is that every member feels welcomed, valued, and able to contribute in a way that feels meaningful to them. Whether you are a longtime Rotarian, new to Rotary, or simply curious about what an eClub can be, we would be delighted to meet you.
With warmth and excitement for the year ahead,
Donna Roggio
President, Rotary eClub Ibiza International

What’s an “eClub”?
How Our eClub Functions
At Rotary eClub Ibiza International, we pride ourselves on our innovative and flexible approach to Rotary's mission of service above self. Here’s how we operate to ensure active participation, meaningful connections, and impactful service:
Language and Communication:
While our eClub is situated on the beautiful island of Ibiza, where Spanish and Catalan are predominantly spoken, our official language of communication is English. This ensures that we can engage with a diverse, global membership and foster inclusive dialogues.
Meeting Schedule:
We embrace the convenience and accessibility of the digital age by hosting our weekly meetings online. Our schedule is as follows:
- Online Meetings: We meet virtually three times a month, allowing members from all over the world to participate without geographical constraints. These meetings are designed to be dynamic, informative, and interactive, providing valuable opportunities for learning and collaboration.
- In-Person Social Gatherings: Once a month, we come together for a social gathering in person. These events are a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our bonds, share experiences, and enjoy the camaraderie that defines Rotary.
Engagement and Participation:
Our hybrid model of online and in-person interactions ensures that members can stay actively involved regardless of their location. We leverage digital tools to facilitate seamless communication, project planning, and service activities, making it easier for everyone to contribute to our goals and initiatives.
We believe that this structure not only enhances our connectivity but also enriches our experiences as Rotarians, enabling us to make a greater impact locally and globally.
Join us at Rotary eClub Ibiza International and be part of a vibrant community dedicated to making a difference in the world.
